This piece is 5.6" x 5.6" [14.2 cms square] and was created from a
needlepoint picture. I found the effect I was after to be illusive to me and I never did manage it. One day I will try again. It was finished with 5 coats of water based sanding sealer and two coats of satin, wipe-on polyurethane varnish. Finished with a Renaissance wax polish rub. Scalpel cut. |
