This piece measures 13-1/8” (25.7cm) x 9.00" (22.86cm) and is
pressed on a piece of ¼” MDF board, and backed by a single piece of
American Red Gum veneer. It was sanded with 220 grit then 5 coats of
sanding sealer were applied. Between each application the surface
was wet and dry sanded with 600 grit using a flat steel block. It
was finished with 3 coats of gloss wipe on polyurethane varnish
then 1 coat of clear satin and
finally polished with Renaissance wax.
It is all Scalpel cut.
