I thought that you might like to see my work
as presented at our Spring 2016 woodworker's show in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Bob Hi Bob, These look terrific. You are very good at Marquetry. Keep up the good work and thanks for the close-ups below. The farm scene (I live in Wisconsin after all)
carcass is done in walnut. It measures 10 X 6.5 X 3.75 inches. The floor of the box is curly maple veneer on hardboard, The moldings are maple, oak and rosewood. |

The covered bridge scene box is in maple. It measures 9 X 7.5 X 3.75 inches. The floor of the box is curly maple. The moldings are rosewood and oak. |

The Fish box is done in Bubinga. It measures 9 X 7 X 3.75 inches. The floor is maple. The moldings are Padouk and oak. |

The Lighthouses. Wisconsin's maritime history. It measures 7-1/4 x 6-1/4 x 3-1/4 inches. Made of Tiger wood, the floor is paper backed white oak on a hard board. |

This photo does not do this box this
box justice. This box is perfectly made and much expertise was used in its construction. It sports dovetail joints, two different Marquetry pieces, two ornate, perfectly fitted hinges and the selection of Veneers is excellent. The finish on the box is remarkable, nicely sanded and varnished. Again Bob many thanks. |
