| Compass Point Trinket Box

| This very
interesting Trinket box sports a Compass Rose set into a birds eye maple field.
Cartouche is black & white, inset into a fine Walnut Burl, all bordered with
a triple stripe of Holly & Mahogany edged with a Walnut. The top is indexed
into the box for a positive close.
The box was crafted by master woodworker Bruce Broussard, and the
Marquetry top designed and crafted by Ernest Mills. It has 5 coats of sanding sealer sanded to 600 grit and 2 coats of polyurethane gloss wipe-on. It was finished with Renaissance Wax polish. |
