This piece measures 13-1/4" (33.7 cm) x 10-7/8" (27.6 cm) and was
vacuum pressed
onto a piece of 1/2" Balsamic Birch plywood. It is backed by a single piece of
Jarrah Burl
veneer.
It was sanded with 120/600 grit then 5 coats of sanding sealer
were applied. Between each application the surface was
sanded with 600 grid using a flat sanding block. It was finished with
3 coats of Satin, wipe on polyurethane varnish and finally polished with
Renaissance wax.
It is all Scalpel cut. |
